Born in Milan in 1981, after years in the communication industry he devoted himself to art, moving to Rome. There he studied photography with renowned international photographers, experimenting and exchanging ideas. In 2010 he was among the winners of the National Geographic competition. In 2016, after years of study in various institutions, he defined a new artistic form called “Photomaterism” with the project “Fino alla Fine del Mare” (Until the End of the Sea), dedicated to migration and featuring the boats of Lampedusa. The project gained wide recognition and was exhibited at major events such as Paris Photo Fair, PAN Naples, MIA Photo Fair Milan, Arles, Paratissima Turin, and Atelier Photo Geneva. In 2017 he exhibited at the Venice Biennale and on Pier Paolo Pasolini’s boat Edipo Re at the Arsenale, gaining international visibility. He later developed two major photomateric projects: “Il Rumore dell’Assenza” (The Sound of Absence), about the Amatrice earthquake, and MiRo (Milano–Roma), a social study on eight years of commuting viewed from the same train window. From 2017 he explored human relationships through “Sospesi” (Suspended), a journey across Italy using new technologies like drones. In 2020 he approached digital art, creating projects such as “Infinity” and collaborating with both Italian and international communities. His digital works were exhibited in Rome (Maison Bosi, Via Margutta), Milan (Ninfa Gallery), and in international events in Miami, New York, Dubai, Lisbon, and Paris. In 2024 he was selected by the Italian Consulate in Dubai for the Dubai Art Fair, and in 2025 he was commissioned to create “Retreat”, the main installation of the fair, focused on Climate Change. His photographs and digital works are featured in galleries in Italy and abroad and are part of major private collections.
