

Ibrahim Karakütük embraces photography as a storytelling medium. His lens-based works reflect an ever-evolving artistic language, tailored to the stories he aims to convey. A co-founder of Ka Space for Visual Culture and Fotolab Print Space in Ankara, Turkey, Karakütük published the book Wet Sorrow, which won the Istanbul Photobook Festival FUAM Dummy Book Award in 2017. Karakütük also authored Vitrivirus Man (2013), My Father (2013), and -3 (2014). He has exhibited extensively in Turkey, and had his first solo exhibition, “Zigzags in the Chest Cavity,” at Galeri Nev in 2021. Submitted by Galeri Nev
