Yuıchıro Kıkuma

Using experimental methods as well as traditional techniques in its productions that Kikuma aims to discover images that exist but are not noticed by the audience. In his art practice, he sees everyday and ordinary household items as tools that leave traces. Repeated tracks refer to these items. Using predominantly black ink, the artist creates the language of his practice with rhythmically repetitive tracks. Yuichiro Kikuma was born in Japan 1982. He got his bachelor’s degree on Fine art and Painting in Wimbledon College of Art in 2010, and his master’s degree on Fine Art in Central Saint Martins in 2016. Yuichiro Kikuma currently lives and works in London, UK.
