Ruben Grigorian

Ruben Grigorian is a contemporary Armenian artist. His artworks would best be described as surrealistic or photorealistic. Since childhood, Ruben was certain that he wanted to be an artist. His neibours were artists, and he felt strongly attracted to the smell of paints coming from their studio. Now Ruben is also married to an artist with whom he shares his neat studio.Ruben Grigorian is an artist of symbols. The rendering of textures, ornaments, human and animal characters is as realistic as it can get. But there is always something dreamlike and unreal about the context in which the characters interact. This is the essence of surrealism, a form of art that unleashes the creative powers of the subconscious mind.
