

Eren Eyüboğlu
Eren Eyüboğlu studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Romania. After graduating in 1929, she went to Paris and studied with André Lhote at the Julian Academy for four years. During this time she studied the works of Monet and Cezzane. She returned to Istanbul after marrying with Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu in 1936, a painter of painting that she met in Paris in 1930. They were two co-painting artists traveling around the Anatolian side of the lifestyles of the people, a reflect in their canvases combining folkloric elements with plastic elements. In the 1950s, she worked with master painters such as Picasso and Braque. Eren Eyüboğlu, who left many works of art behind him, died in Istanbul in 1988.
