Elvira Bach
Elvira Bach (born 1951 in Bad Neuenhain, Germany), studied with Hann Trier at the HdK Hochschule der Künstler (University of the Arts) Berlin. After showing at Documenta 7 in 1982, Bach gained international recognition and became one of Germany’s most well-known painters. Since1978 her work has been shown in numerous exhibitions, including prominent museums and collections such as the Guggenheim in New York, the Museum in Groningen (the Netherlands), the Haus der Kunst in Munich, the Städel in Frankfurt and lately the museum in Landerneau (France).
