Kateryna Lysovenko (1989,Kyiv, Ukraine). In her practice she focuses on monumental paintings, painting, drawing, and text. Lysovenko is engaged in the study of the relationship between ideology and painting, the production of the image of the victim in politics and art, from antiquity to the present day. Lysovenko looks at painting as a language that can be instrumentalized or liberated. Living and working in Kyiv, Ukraine.
